Building upon existing innovations like the Ambulance Drone, wearable heart attack detection devices and CPR machines, our team created a concept that emphasizes speed, effectiveness and user-friendliness.
Angel is to assist in the resuscitation process, bringing both an AED and an automatic CPR device to the emergency scene, establishing communication with the responder, and providing instructions to first responders. Angel is designed to look non-threatening and recognizable blending organically shaped surfaces with the familiar ambulance aesthetic.
The project's scope was regulated by constructing a tree of possible heart-attack-related scenarios. Requirements were gathered in an iterative cycle of research, design and evaluation. And the interplay of Interviews with medical professionals and insight gathered from questionnaires gauging human-drone interaction led to informed design choices later to be evaluated through the Vr-setup.

We’ve developed an immersive experience simulating a real-life emergency scenario. Users engage with the system while actively participating in a Virtual-Reality life-saving intervention. Through this platform, we gather feedback to refine the design of the ‘Angel drone’, ensuring optimal usability and effectiveness in real-world applications.
