The design of this website underwent a meticulous process, starting with gathering inspiration and consulting experts. It then advanced through conceptual models and paper prototypes before being crafted in Figma and ultimately developed in Framer. The emphasis was placed on tailoring it to the intended viewers and adhering to the design specifications of an educational portfolio. Great care was taken in designing the navigation system, taking into account various possibilities to ensure an intuitive and cohesive user experience. There were considerations regarding personal brand identity design and making the website responsive for multiple device form factors. Ultimately, taking feedback from both colleagues and experienced advisors has proven to be invaluable in perfecting this website to its ultimate, sophisticated yet simple form.
I believe that dedicating myself fully to crafting this portfolio has allowed me to proficiently apply my acquired knowledge thoughts the course. I have pushed my limits when it comes to UI/UX design and presentation skills in hopes for making my projects come to life (or at least letting them live a little longer than on a rusty miro board). The main takeaway from the project is that when something is put on paper, it exists; when it's not, it doesn't.
